Service Details

In our dental department in DMC we believe that our job is not just to drill and fill, our mission as dental surgeons is to educate our patients about oral diseases, its prevention and the maintenance of oral health. Our duty is to encourage prevention as it is always better than cure.
When it comes to therapy our Team of specialists collaborate to provide our patients with optimum treatment plans and dental services which includes:
Dental Implants:
A Dental implant is a surgical component that integrates with the bone of the jaw to support a dental prosthesis such as a crown, bridge or a denture. It is a method of replacing single or multiple missing teeth. The type of implant system we use is a German system called “Anyklos “, known to be one of the best implant systems nowadays.

Teeth whitening/ bleaching
Whitening restores natural teeth color while bleaching whitens beyond the natural color. A single session involves applying a chemical material to teeth for 15 minutes that could be repeated till patient satisfaction. In DMC we use the latest and most effective whitening system “ZOOM”.

Scaling and root planning:
is the process of removing or eliminating dental plaque, calculus and bacteria which cause inflammation, bone loss, gums recession and eventually loosening of teeth thus helping to establish gums that are free of disease. The procedure length varies depending on the amount of calculus/plaque and should be done every 6 months for non-smokers and 3 months for smokers as dental calculus could not be removed by normal brushing once created.

Laminate veneers:
Are thin layers of porcelain placed over only the facial surface of a teeth to improve esthetics and/or restore lost tooth structure. There are two main types of materials used to fabricate a laminate veneer composite and dental porcelain.

Are restorations used mainly for the protection of badly broken single tooth and/or a tooth that has undergone root canal therapy and that is liable to fracture?

Is a fixed dental restoration used to replace a missing tooth (or several teeth) by joining an artificial tooth permanently to adjacent teeth or dental implants. It is used to restore single or multiple missing teeth by preparing neighbouring teeth and resting on them to provide anchorage for the replaced teeth that are now filling the gap created by a missing tooth.

Composite fillings/Tooth colored restorations:
Teeth usually require fillings if they have undergone tooth decay or got fractured. After removal of decay the tooth has to be filled with a durable restoration. In our clinic we do not use silver fillings (image on top) we only use tooth colored restorations/composite fillings. If tooth decay is neglected it could reach the root canal in the center of the tooth and consequently will need root canal therapy.

Root canal treatment
Is a dental procedure used to treat infection at the center of a tooth (the root canal system). It's also known as 'endodontics'. The infection is caused by bacteria that live in the mouth and invade the tooth.

Aligners or invisible braces:
Are the clear alternative to metal braces for adults, kids and teens. These clear aligners are the virtually invisible way to improve your smile. They can only be used in selected cases.
